City officials announced last week a new set of policies for the area's free trade zone that will support the development of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District Free Trade Pilot Zone.

Officials said that the policy is designed to encourage legal service institutions to expand, to promote talent recruitment, and to foster cross-Strait legal exchanges.
