Area authorities announced last week that 1.4 kilometers of roadway servicing the city's upcoming airport in Dadeng are now open for vehicular traffic.

Construction on the roadway is slated to be half-complete by the end of this year.

The new Airport Avenue begins at the Dadeng bridge and will run seven kilometers to the new airport's terminal complex.
