The Xiamen Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics announced last week that per capita disposable income for Xiamen residents overall hit 29,242 yuan in the first half of 2019, up 10 percent year-on-year.

Per capita disposable income for urban residents was 30,666 yuan, a yearly increase of 8.3 percent while per capita disposable income for rural residents was 15,068 yuan, up by more than 10 percent year-on-year.

As a whole, Xiamen notched the highest income growth in Fujian.
