Gulangyu recruits tourism ambassadors

Gulangyu tourism officials are now recruiting eight international ambassadors for the islet in cooperation with Xiamen Daily and Sina Xiamen. Ambassadors will promote Gulangyu internationally through tours and online via WeChat, Sina Weibo and various social networking sites.
The part-time ambassador position includes free entrance to many of Gulangyu’s cultural sites and museums as well as a three-day stay at the Gulangyu Haoyue Resort Center. Applications for the one-year ambassadorship can be made through August 11 by calling 968820 or online at http://mn.sina.com.cn/travel/zt/gulangyudashi/index.shtml.
