Fudan Zhongshan Xiamen Hospital put into use

After two years of construction and preparation, the Xiamen Branch of the Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University Hospital (hence the name Fudan Zhongshan Xiamen Hospital) marked its grand opening on August 20.

800 Beds Authorized

Located in NO.668, Huli District of Xiamen City, the Fudan Zhongshan Xiamen Hospital owns 800 beds and 13 clinical departments. Each department has opened outpatient service and inpatient ward. The hospital will gradually open more departments in the next 2-3 months.

Intelligent Logistics System

The Fudan Zhongshan Xiamen Hospital owns a 3.0T MRI(magnetic resonance imaging) machine, the first of its kind in Fujian Province, and three intelligent logistics systems: Pneumatic Logistics System, AGV(automated guided vehicle) System and Vertical Lift Module and Horizontal Carousel System.

The Fudan Zhongshan Xiamen Hospital has been connected to Xiamen Citizen Health Information network. The citizens can make an appointment through its WeChat official account“美丽厦门智慧健康微信平台”, by calling the phone number “96166”, or using the self-service registration machines in the outpatient hall.
