Adam: Hi Li Mei, May Day is coming, do you have any plans for the three-day holiday?

Li Mei: I'm planning a trip to Zhenhai Cape.

我想去镇海角玩玩。

Adam: What's it like?

Li Mei: It's a scenic paradise with mountains, a fantastic beach and unique black volcanic rocks. The place attracts thousands of domestic and international guests every year.

那里有风景优美的山地，令人惊艳的海滩，独特的黑色火山石，每个季节都吸引许多国内外游客。

Adam: It sounds like the landscape is truly beautiful. I'm always fascinated by volcanic rocks, it just seems amazing to me that the rocks come from the lava of an ancient volcanic eruption.

Li Mei: Did you know that Zhenhai Cape is sometimes compared to Kenting in Taiwan?

Adam: I vaguely recall that Kenting has sunny beaches but that's all I remember.

Li Mei: No matter. Zhenhai Cape is in Longhai County, Zhangzhou. It faces the Taiwan Strait and it is one of the region's most famous scenic spots.

Adam: Is it far from Xiamen? How can I get there?

离厦门多远？我们要如何去呢？

Li Mei: It is about a one-hour drive from Xiamen. When you get there, you can soak in a panoramic view of the cape and the vast blue sea from the top of the hills.

Adam: Cool. And since it's on the coast, they must have a lot of seafood there.
