Xiamen ranks second in public service satisfaction survey



A symposium on internet and urban public service satisfaction kicked off recently in Beijing. Hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China Social Sciences Academic Press and Tencent, the event included the official debut of the annual Blue Book on Public Service. a ranked list of public service satisfaction based on online surveys covering 38 major domestic cities.


Lhasa topped the list, followed by Xiamen in second place. Rounding out the top ten are Ningbo, Hangzhou, Zhuhai, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Yinchuan and Fuzhou. The city survey included performance appraisals based on categories such as public transport, safety, local housing and social support services.
