11th China (Xiamen) Int'l Recreational Fishery & Aquarium Expo to open Nov 9-11

The 11th China (Xiamen) International Recreational Fishery and Aquarium Expo is set to take place in Xiamen, Fujian province from November 9 to 11.

Covering an area of 11,000 square meters at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, this year's expo will set up 510 booths and five themed pavilions. Visitors can see exhibitions such as leisure fishing village tourism, sea fishing and yachts, an ornamental aquarium, and an ocean entertainment and a fishery culture comprehensive exhibition. All of these sights will display the products of recreational fishery and marine entertainment industry.

More than 150 enterprises from home and abroad are expected to attend the expo.

Additionally, a collection of recreational fishery forums, brand launch events, and representative assemblies of related associations will be held during the 3-day event.

Also on offer are a diverse blend of interactive activities, such as fishing for parents and children, canoeing, and diving under the guidance of professionals.

In addition, a wide range of supporting events such as the Fisheries Tourism Projects Investment Promotion, the Sea Grasses Landscaping Contest, the Water Sports Experience, the Marine and Fisheries Photo Exhibition, the Industry Carnival, and the New Technology and New Products Release will be held during the period.

The expo, jointly sponsored by China Recreational Angling Association, Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries and Xiamen Municipal Government, has been running for ten years, and is dedicated to promoting the upgrading of recreational fishing, offshore fishing and marine entertainment industry.
