Entrants sought worldwide for Xiamen animation festival

Anime derivative product designs are being solicited around the world, as part of the upcoming 11th Xiamen International Animation Festival, its organizing committee announced recently.

Entrants are required to design digital products, stuffed toys, daily necessities, shoes, clothes, bags, suitcases, and garage kits based on any of the authorized intellectual property anime listed on the festival's official website (http://dmz.cnpubxinde.com/ic/index).

These works can be submitted after signing up for the festival on the official website before the deadline of Oct 20.

Eight winners are expected to be selected and rewards of up to 20,000 yuan ($2,892) will be given to each winner, who will gain the opportunity to put their works into production.

The award-winning designs are scheduled to be announced at the 11th Xiamen International Animation Festival which is set to take place from Nov 15 to 18 at Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center.
