Two villages in Xiamen named as Most Beautiful Chinese Villages for Leisure in 2018

Seven villages in Fujian province made it onto the list of the Most Beautiful Chinese Villages for Leisure in 2018, recently released by the Ministry of Agriculture.
Two of them are from Xiamen, namely, Baijiaoci village in Tong’an and Matang village in Xiang’an.
The other five are Peixie village in Longyan city, Huiyu village in Quanzhou city, Yuansha village in Datian county, Nanxiao village in Fuqing city, and Yanshu village in Yunxiao county.
The villages were honored for their beautiful environment, diversified industries, unique layout, and harmonious culture.
