Xiamen firm approved to import bird's nests

China's Customs authorities recently released a list of domestic firms approved to import bird's nest products.
The Yananju Industrial Company in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone became one of the first two designated processing enterprises granted approval.
The firm plans to import up to 250 tons of bird's nests per year, beginning with an initial batch of 30 kilograms of unprocessed bird's nests from Indonesia.
