7th Xiamen Cyber Culture Festival opens its doors
The opening ceremony for the 7th Xiamen Cyber Culture Festival as well as an Omnimedia Relay was held in Haicang Culture Center this morning.
Following the theme of “The 40-Year Journey of Xiamen into the New Era”, this year’s festival will include 22 activities showcasing the innovative, beautiful, harmonious, and cultural achievements of Xiamen.
From now to September, over 20 Internet media companies will come together to tell the story of Xiamen’s 40 years of reform and opening up, and present the city's modern face in the new era through micro videos, short movies, photos, cartoons and many other expressive works.
As one of the organizers of the event, the city’s official website www.xmnn.cn designed three thematic activities which are: a short video production, an online keynote speech contest for college students, and an English competency competition for primary and secondary students.
