3-day Cross-Strait Book Fair attracts 100,000 visitors

The 13th Cross-Strait Book Fair drew to a successful conclusion in Xiamen on Sunday (October 15).

 
Held from October 13 to 15, the three-day event attracted nearly 100,000 visitors and signed 352 copyright contracts, with the total list price of books ordered and sold on the spot reaching  46 million yuan.

 
Covering  an exhibition area of 30,500 square meters, the fair set up two main venues at Xiamen Culture and Art Center Museum and Xiamen International Book Store and four sub-venues in Haicang district, Jimei district, Kulangsu Island, and XIBC logistics building .

 
More than 500 publishing institutions attended the book fair, showcasing about 700,000 books in 200,000 categories with a total price of 30 million yuan.Over 30 famous writers and scholars from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan attended the fair to sign books for fans and deliver a total of 94 lectures.

 
It is said that the 14th Cross-Strait Book Fair will b
e held in Taiwan in 2018.
