The Gulangyu branch of the Palace Museum in Xiamen, Fujian province was one of the city's most popular tourist attractions during last week's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
Featuring more than 200 artifacts from the collection of the world-famous Palace Museum in Beijing, including antique clocks, scientific instruments and paintings from abroad, the Gulangyu Gallery of Foreign Artifacts from the Palace Museum Collections attracted many visitors during the "Golden Week" holiday, which ran from Oct 1 to 8 this year.
