More than 50 domestic and foreign journalists conduct intensive interviews in Xiamen

The BRICS Summit is around the corner. Between May 21st and 23rd, more than 50 journalists from 30 domestic and foreign media outlets and coming from more than 20 countries and regions, carried out interviews in Xiamen. During their stay, the journalists visited Shapowei, Zengcuoan, Gulangyu Islet, Xiamen Software Park Phase II, XUDC, International Shipping Centre and other places, to see for themselves highlights of the city’s industrial transformation and upgrading, the vigour of innovation and entrepreneurship, the international community and the cultural diversity of Gulangyu Islet.

All of these journalists, from both home and abroad, showed their deep feelings during this trip and expressed their full expectations for the upcoming conference. Danielle Blanco, a journalist from Mexico Financier, praised the well-organised interview activities. He said, “Xiamen is a nice city with a perfect combination of traditional and modern, I believe Xiamen’s BRICS Summit will also promote the development of culture, business and other aspects of the city.” .
