Tea fair attracts global businesses

The 2016 China Xiamen International Tea Industry Fair opened last Thursday at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, along with the 11th China Xiamen International Buddhist Items & Crafts Fair and the eighth China Xiamen International Vegetarian Food Fair.
A top global event for the tea industry, the five-day fair covers an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters and 3,000 booths. Nearly 1,000 businesses all over the world demonstrated tea and tea ware products at the fair, including firms from Canada, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, the Rupublic of Korea, Sri Lanka and the U.S. The Xiamen tea fair boasts the most overseas business attendance for events of its kind in Chinese mainland.
