Wang Yang opens 19th CIFIT in Xiamen

At 9:08 of September 8th, Wang Yang, member of the Politburo Standing Committee and Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, launched the 'Golden Key' at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, marking the grand opening of the 19th China International Fair for Investment & Trade.

This year's CIFIT focuses on the theme of China's Belt and Road Initiative and transnational investment, with the participation of guests from more than 100 countries and regions.

The 19th China International Fair for Investment and Trade covers an exhibition area of 138,000 square meters and a record-high 6,000 booths.

As the Guest Country of Honor for CIFIT this year, Italy booked exhibit area of 800 square meters. Meanwhile, Macao, the Guest Region of Honor, set up the Macao Pavilion as well as a Macao special commodity exhibition occupying 6,000 square meters.

During the 4-day event, the committee will organize over 30,000 projects with 3,000 business events and activities.
